inside new york fashion week
I have been busy blogging over at Thread NY so I haven’t been posting as much as I wanted to during fashion week! Instead of doing a rundown of every show that I liked, every shoe that I am lusting after and every celeb I had a run in with, I thought I would share some of my favorite moments.
Close up of a necklace at the Dannijo presentation.
Erro presentation at the Bowery Hotel. Sexy sexy.
Gift bags are back in style. Here is the view before the Vena Cava show.
Wes Gordon is not only a good friend, but a super talent. Here is a view of his third collection’s presentation, held at the famed St.Regis hotel. Can’t wait to place my fall order–there is truly so much to love in the collection.
The gorgeous view at the Douglas Hannant fragrance launch along with Robert Piguet Parfums. The party was held at the Payne Whitney Mansion on the Upper East Side and was one of the most spectacular parties that I have been to in a while.
Close up at the Costello Tagliapietra show. Love love loved.
Rachel Antonoff had a school dance theme presentation for her fall collection at LaGuardia’s Gymnasium. So adorable and special.
Cutest models of the week award definitely goes to Gant by Michael Bastian, just about everyone was ogling.
From the Altuzarra show. The beautiful Karolina Kurkova walked (she has really been making the rounds this season).
Karen Elson performing at the Waris Loves You x Yoox.com launch party.
Kimberly Ovitz presentation. Look closely at the makeup!
The Moncler Grenoble flash mob in Grand Central Terminal. 160 dancers took part in the spectacle. Truly amazing.
Chris Benz is always an uplifting show during fashion week.
The amazing Gucci Westman of Revlon backstage at Oscar de la Renta.
It literally rained money at the VMan Kanye West party at the yet to be opened Mondrian Hotel in Soho.
Beautiful beautiful gowns at the Marchesa presentation. Which one will end up at the Oscars?
The model board backstage at Proenza Schouler.
From my favorite show of the week, Proenza Schouler. I am dying for every piece in the collection.
And there you have it, some of my favorite moments. Until Paris!
