what everyone is wearing, la: the green military jacket

When I was 19 and an impoverished University student, I bought my first green military jacket. I discovered it in a musty thrift store in a London suburb and that jacket soon became my trusty fashion friend. The jacket is still in one piece, albeit a little worn and torn (which frankly adds to its charm). So imagine my delight when I began to notice more and more girls in LA sporting this trend (even Kate Bosworth pictured above). The wonderful thing about these jackets is that they go with everything. In the day LA girls are wearing them with cuffed slim white jeans, chambray shirts and tan loafers, and at night they are throwing them on over sequin shifts.
